This Privacy Policy describes how Product Drills, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our Service. The "Service" includes the Product Management Drills web platform at productdrills.com and the PM Drills mobile app (iOS and Android). Your account, subscription status, drill history, and streaks are shared across both platforms. Each platform offers a different feature set, and subscriptions are billed through the platform where you subscribed (App Store, Google Play, or the website). By using either platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide:
- Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and your self-identified professional level (e.g., "Product Manager (2-5 Yrs)").
- Performance Data: We collect the choices you make during drills, your stated confidence levels, and the resulting performance metrics like your Conviction Score.
Information We Collect Automatically:
- Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, such as features used and time spent. Your drill history, performance metrics, and account settings are stored on our secure servers. We use PostHog to collect usage analytics across both the web platform and mobile app.
- Mobile-Specific Data: When you use the PM Drills mobile app, we may also collect your device type and operating system version; advertising identifiers (such as your device's Advertising ID) used by Google AdMob to serve ads on the free mobile tier; and push notification tokens, when you grant permission, used solely to send drill reminders.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our Service.
- Manage your account and subscription.
- Calculate your performance metrics, including Conviction Score and streaks.
- Personalize your experience, for example, by providing drills tailored to your skill level using our spaced repetition algorithm.
- Display your name and performance on leaderboards if you qualify.
- Provide anonymized, aggregated peer data to other users for comparison during drills.
- Communicate with you about your account or our Service.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following ways:
- With Other Users: Your name and performance metrics may be visible to other users on leaderboards. If you use the share feature, a public page with your performance card will be created.
- Aggregated Data: We may share aggregated, anonymized data (e.g., average peer choices on a drill) with users. This data cannot be used to identify you.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
4. Your Rights and Choices
You have rights over your personal information:
- Access and Update: You can access and update your profile information (such as your PM Level) at any time on your Profile page.

5. Data Security
We use reasonable measures to help protect your information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have, we will take steps to delete such information.
